Heidi W. Isenhart
Shareholder

Heidi is a Martindale-Hubbell AV-rated attorney who specializes in elder law, Medicaid planning, guardianship, probate and trust administration, estate planning and special-needs trusts.

Typically working with families at their worst because of death or illness, she is often at her best as a sincere, eager champion of the underdog. While emotions run high in those crises, she diligently works to find answers that comfort. Much of her work centers on the transfer of assets to children, spouses, loved ones and charities through a variety of tax-advantaged trusts. Her work also includes protecting the rights of incapacitated elderly people as well as minors and the legally disabled.

Her philosophy: “I’m not afraid to fight a good fight to do the right thing.”
Among several other groups, Heidi is a member of the Florida Bar’s Elder Law and Real Property, Probate and Trust sections; past chair of the Orange County Bar Association’s Estate, Guardianship and Trust Law Committee; National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys; and Florida State Guardianship Association.

In addition, Heidi is a community leader, speaking to local groups and mentoring law students as a professor at the Barry University of Law in Orlando. Her biggest message: Caring, along with ethics and effort, equals success.
