Jason E. Merritt

Jason’s practice focuses on real estate including representation of sellers and purchasers in residential and commercial transactions, landlords and tenants in commercial leasing matters, advising borrowers regarding the terms and structure of real estate collateralized borrowing as well as assisting clients with zoning and land use matters. In addition, his background includes municipal and public law resulting from his previous representation of several Central Florida cities and public boards.
Jason regards as one of his chief strengths his ability to listen to and work cooperatively with his clients. He believes that effective representation is founded upon a relationship of trust and open collaboration with his clients.
Jason is committed to making a difference not only in the lives of his clients but also in his community. Jason has previously served as a volunteer advisor to the University of Central Florida’s Small Business Advisory Board and currently serves on the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Central Florida Leadership Board. Additionally, Jason serves as an Elder at Northland, A Church Distributed in Mount Dora, Florida.
