A founding partner of ShuffieldLowman, Charlie Shuffield is a veteran tax attorney whose areas of practice include Corporate Law, Banking Law, Taxation, Estate Planning, Trusts and Estates, and Wealth Management.
Working mostly with business clients, his primary focus is estate planning and probate, where he expertly and creatively assists in the transfer of wealth from generation to generation. His clients encompass a broad range of wealth levels, from hundreds of millions of dollars to owners of newly established small businesses. He has gained admission to both the U.S. Tax Court and U.S. Supreme Court. His efforts are marked by personal attention and relationship building, along with the ability to uncover strategic opportunities through effective communication with clients.
He has held numerous executive positions at many professional groups, including Taxation Committee chair of the Orange County Bar Association; and Executive Council member, Tax Section, of The Florida Bar. Similarly, he has served on dozens of community boards of directors during his career, including a current tenure with the Orlando Union Rescue Mission.
In addition, he is a consistent award winner for professional achievement, earning recognition among the Florida Legal Elite, Florida Super Lawyers and Best of the Bar.
