Brian M. Walsh

Brian M. Walsh practices in the area of business law, concentrating in the areas of corporate and federal income tax.  He also has significant work experience in timeshare law and is currently developing a thriving practice devoted to industry-specific legal needs.

Brian joined ShuffieldLowman following tenure with a national law firm where he provided legal counsel and representation for a number of well-known national entities, including a major U.S. auto manufacturer.  His corporate experience includes extensive transactional work and multi-million dollar merger and acquisition representation.  In addition, Brian has handled both general corporate and partnership matters for a leading restaurant industry group headquartered in Orlando, as well as for automotive dealerships throughout the State of Florida.  He also assisted with SEC filings and general legal matters for an international publicly traded company headquartered in Southwest, Florida.   Brian’s banking representation includes, national institutions such as SunTrust Bank, Regions Bank, Wachovia Bank (now Wells Fargo), and Colonial Bank.  For each Brian has handled a variety of commercial loan transactions and related debt facilities.  As a full-service corporate attorney, Brian also has significant experience in additional areas of the law including trusts and estate tax planning, commercial litigation, electronic-discovery, and commercial real estate work.

Prior to his career in law, Brian was a paramedic in Northeastern Pennsylvania, where he also served as an instructor in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation.

While in law school, he studied in Nice, France with distinguished faculty member, United States Supreme Court Associate Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg at La Faculte' de Droit de Nice.
