The law firm of ShuffieldLowman was founded on October 1, 2003 as a full-service commercial firm. The firm's offices occupy the 17th floor of the Gateway Center building located at 1000 Legion Place at the intersection of North Orange Avenue and Garland Street.

Currently the firm includes 38 attorneys, thirteen paralegals, administrative and support staff. The collective experience of the firm's 38 attorneys totals more than 400 years of practicing law. In addition, the firm's thirteen paralegals each have at least 10 years in their field.
